The Project

  • Restructure of the Supply Chain & Logistics team in EMEA for this rapidly expanding Diagnostics organization.
  • Project requiring a confidential search which cannot be managed by their internal Talent Acquisition (TA) team.
  • TA team already have a network of candidates from a VP hire and so have requested Medexec’s support on this assignment due to a highly sensitive internal challenge potentially impacting the culture of the organization.

Our Recommendation

  • Confidential and retained agreement requiring Medexec to obtain nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) from all the TA’s candidates.
  • Robust screening process and face-to-face meetings, executing these on behalf of the TA team whilst ensuring they are structurally consistent and mirroring the company’s existing internal recruitment process.
  • Medexec to perform a wider search in the medical and life science sector market for candidates in Supply Chain and Logistics Director level roles holding EMEA & Global experience, to ensure that all suitable profiles are considered.

Results Delivered

Medexec successfully hired a Global Logistics Director into the role in just 6 weeks. This was an unusual hire due to the nature and impact of COVID-19 which meant a fully virtual process requiring multiple-stakeholder interview process and onboarding period with a company had never previously hired without a physical face-to-face meeting.

The candidate was successfully (virtually) onboarded and quickly impacted their on Supply chain efficiency and optimization, whilst developing the EMEA S&OP process.

Post Completion

Medexec continued to hire confidentially for additional projects including Global Head of Logistics, UK Logistics Manager (Contractor payrolled by us) and Wider Supply Planners to support the business comprehensively on an exclusive, contingent, and retained models to suit the demands of the business.
